Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions of Sale explain how Sun & Steel Agricultural Solutions (“SSAS,” “we,” “us”) sells, fabricates, delivers, and supports our greenhouse and supplementary products. We encourage customers to review these terms carefully and contact us with any questions before placing an order.

01The Agreement

These Terms & Conditions of Sale form part of the purchase agreement between Sun & Steel Agricultural Solutions and the customer and apply to all customer transactions unless otherwise agreed to in writing by both parties.

02Order Changes

Once an order is confirmed, any changes may result in change-order fees, additional charges, or schedule adjustments. All changes and any associated pricing adjustments must be approved in writing by both parties before work proceeds.

03Installation & Scope of Work

Installation is not included. However, we can offer consultation on the following:

  • Foundation preparation specific to the greenhouse dimensions provided to you by us.

Unless otherwise stated, orders do not include:

  • Site preparation
  • Building permits
  • Electrical or plumbing services
  • Waste or debris removal

04Fabrication & Delivery Timelines

Fabrication and delivery timelines are estimates and may change due to factors beyond our control, including supply chain disruptions, weather, or carrier delays.

Sun & Steel Agricultural Solutions is not responsible for losses or expenses arising from fabrication delays, shipping delays, or failure to receive advance notice of such delays.

05Shipping & Freight

Orders are shipped using carriers coordinated by Sun & Steel Agricultural Solutions. Freight costs include applicable customs and duty charges unless noted. If shipment is delayed at the buyer’s request, or if incorrect or incomplete delivery information is provided, any resulting storage or additional costs are the buyer’s responsibility.

The buyer is responsible for receiving delivery with appropriate manpower and equipment unless otherwise noted.

06Delivery Inspection & Claims

Upon delivery, the buyer must:

  • Inspect all goods before installation
  • Note any damage on the delivery receipt
  • Provide written notice and photographs of damage to SSAS

All delivery-related claims must be submitted within five (5) business days of delivery. Failure to do so constitutes acceptance of the goods in satisfactory condition.

07Warranty & Liability

Sun & Steel Agricultural Solutions is not liable for defects or failures resulting from:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improper use or installation
  • Unauthorized modifications
  • Negligence
  • Acts of God or abnormal conditions

Use of any product outside the scope outlined in the quote voids all liability.

08Cancellations & Returns

Due to the nature of our products:

  • Orders on greenhouses are final sale, unless parts are irreparably damaged.
  • Cancellations, returns, or modifications require written approval from SSAS.

Should your order arrive damaged, please reach out to our team directly. We can often provide replacement parts, which is a more efficient and eco-friendly alternative to a full return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. Although not required, it’s recommended that you consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance as we can not guarantee that we will receive your returned item otherwise. To return your product, please reach out to admin@sunandsteelsolutions.com for instructions.

09Payments, Tariffs & Taxes

Accepted Payments: We offer flexible payment options for our local customers within the Greater Vancouver area. For customers located outside of this region, we exclusively accept credit card payments to ensure secure and efficient processing.

Tariffs & Duties: International orders may be subject to local import duties and taxes, which are settled by the customer at the time of delivery.

Taxes: Provincial Sales Tax applies to orders within British Columbia. GST or HST applies to all Canadian orders. Other provincial, state, or international taxes may be the buyer’s responsibility. Sun & Steel Agricultural Solutions is not responsible for taxes assessed after the sale.

10Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of British Columbia courts.
